HOUSE, Inc. First Home: Solution for Women Struggling With Addiction

It's a common misconception that women struggling with addiction are alone. In fact, there are many of them who have been left homeless or on the verge of homelessness as a result of their addiction. HOUSE, Inc., founded this summer, is working to change that reality by providing a safe and affordable place for these women to live. Our first home will be for the benefit of women in New Hampshire who are either homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless. It will be a safe and affordable place for them to live. There will be social structures inside the home to support staying sober such as group therapy and various activities like art therapy and yoga classes which promote healing from trauma experienced during childhood abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence etc. The hope is that this will provide an opportunity for these women to transition back into society. You can support this effort by donating to HOUSE, Inc. today!
